STRATFORD PAL IDENTIFICATION PROGRAM

Picture
Picture
The Stratford Police Department and Stratford PAL have partnered up with GetMyID.com to provide members of our community with special identification cards which will allow individuals to identify themselves while also letting our Officers know that the bearer of the card may have a special need.

Similar to the State of Connecticut's Blue Envelope Program for individuals with Autism, this card was designed to enhance communication between not only our Officers, but Officers anywhere and the bearer of the card.

Each card has a special, unique QR code as well as an ID Number and PIN Code that can be scanned to get the card bearers information as well as to alert a loved one that they may be in trouble.

Should the bearer of the card lose the card, the QR code as well as ID and PIN number can be disabled to protect the bearers information. A new QR code can be activated without losing any information.

If you have any questions about this program, please contact Officer Sharnick at bsharnick@townofstratford.com or Officer DeJesus edejesus@townofstratford.com Subject Line "PAL ID"
